A Word From The Instructor:
My approach to Tai Chi is from an energetic and health perspective.
Daily Exercise is good for you. And I think Tai Chi and yoga are two great forms of exercise.
I start the class with basic warm ups, then into Tai Chi, and then into energy exercises. We’ll focus on moving meditation and breath. Wear clothes you can move in. I like to practice bare foot but you don’t have to, but please wear shoes you can move in.
After Tai Chi, you are welcome to join us for Yoga Meditation.
I love yoga and meditation and I hope to instill that love with you. Yoga is a great healer and a wonderful way to get a work out and much more, like preparing for meditation. It is a divine union. Yes it helps with flexibility, but even more so it connects you to your breath, your heart, and to what is real. The class starts with some basics then into Vinyasa, then into Hatha, and then into breath (pranayama) and then into meditation. Remember to bring your yoga mat, a blanket if you need one, clothes you can move in, and good clean water is always a good idea.
