Join us on Thursday 5 April at 6pm, as we open three new exhibitions in the Huw Davies Gallery, celebrating analogue and hand processed imagery.
An exhibition celebrating slow photography and the time-honoured techniques of the hand-printed processes of Vandyke, Cyanotype & Gum bichromate, focusing on still life imagery, by mid-career ACT-region photographer Kim Sinclair.
'The Spirit Within Australia: The Land and The People'
Works from the fine press book (of the same name) featuring original photographic-based art produced using historic hand-crafted processes from both well-known and emerging Australian photographic artists. Curated by Veritas Editions.
'We Were Here'
An exhibition featuring analogue photography of remote small town Australia, exploring identity and place through the landscape emerging NSW-regional photographer Michaela Gamble.
Exhibitions continue until Sunday 29 April 2018.
The exhibitions will be open at 6:15pm by Professor Denise Ferris, Head, School of Art & Design, Australian National University.
