After the success of our first series of masterclasses.. we’re glad to introduce the second lighting series 2018 using natural light techniques offered by 6 iconic photographers covering 6 different topics. A masterclass is an advanced workshop (6-8 hours) that offers hands-on experience of a special topic/genre educating participating photographers on the theory and practice.
Natural Light Series: Six Photographers, Six Techniques, Six Masterclasses.

This photographic mini-workshop allows participants to learn how to develop a photographic narrative and tell a compelling story in a photo reportage style. Individually guide each participant to design and build a photographic reportage by adding on to their current level of comprehension on Visual Storytelling.

2- How to gain access to photographing challenging situations and subjects.
3- �How to structure a visual story maintaining a good balance between form and content;�How to edit your final work.�

-About Faouzi Massrali:
Faouzi Massrali is a Paris-born Photographer. He studied architecture in Paris, then photography at SVA and ICP in New York. Currently residing in Cairo, he has expanded his career as a photographer by incorporating graphic design, following a career as the artisitic and creative director of El Beit, a monthly magazine of interior design.. Also has been working as a freelance photographer working with artists and Designers which reflects the two worlds he straddles. His images suggest new worlds of possibilities… He seeks to unearth modern visual elements of Egyptian identity, and explore the relationships between tradition and modernity.

Amina Zaher is a professional Fashion Photographer based in Cairo
She studied Marketing at The Arab Academy for Science and Technology then worked for Microsoft and Danone for 8 Years, meanwhile studying photography (online courses/ tutorials). In 2014, Amina traveled to New York and studied Photography in the “New York Film Academy “and came back to Egypt as a Freelance Fashion Photographer.
She assisted Mazen Abu Srour in LUXURY MAGAZINE (GUCCI, CHANEL and PRADA), Dubai 2015 She worked on Fashion Projects in India for Global Fashion Street Magazine; and was featured in “Best of Pure London” 2016 She also shot For Vogue Arabia, Harper’s BAZAAR Arabia and Jute Magazine NY in 2017.

- About Karim Soliman:
Karim Soliman is passionate about capturing human emotions through his lens. Since 2007, Karim is constantly seeking to expand his knowledge about portrait photography by attending and delivering workshops locally and internationally mentors such as Manny Librodo.
He has worked with numerous international photography agencies focusing on and portrait photography, also his portraits pictures been posted in Vogue Italy website.

Sabry Khaled is documentary photographer and filmmaker based
in Cairo, Egypt. covering daily news stories, social issues, as well as long term in-depth self-driven documentary projects, which are usually described as emotional, intimate and humane.
Khaled Studied dentistry and has a master's degree in facial
surgery before shifting his career towards journalism almost 10 years ago.
Khaled covered the Egyptian uprising with many media outlets
such as Al-Jazeera, BBC world and RT, along with Al-Shrouk newspaper as a Photographer and sometimes translator and fixer.
Khaled has the experience working in hostile environments,
which he gained during the extensive coverage of the Egyptian revolution and the events that followed, In 2013 he was trained for working in conflict during a course for photojournalists by TYR solutions.
Since the outbreak of the Egyptian uprising Khaled contributed regularly with many major news wires like The AP and Anadolu Agency which helped to expose his work to many publications such as TIME, The New York Times, Washington Post, CNN.
His photography has been exhibited in Egypt, Germany and Finland. Currently he is teaching Photojournalism at the faculty of Mass media and communication at the British University in Egypt. Khaled also is a photography and photojournalism trainer, working independently and in cooperation with many NGOs.
