9:00am – Westville Library, for a family-friendly stroll to Acadia Park with Clare Steele (Westville Recreation), and library staff!
10:15am – New Glasgow Library, for a Storywalk adventure around the library for the young & young-at-heart, with library staff!
11:00am – Antigonish Town & County Library, for a late morning walk with Carol, and the Nordic Pole Walking Group at the Library!
11:30am – Pictou Library, for a family-friendly stroll along the waterfront with Michelle Young (Pictou Recreation & Parks), and library staff!
1:30pm – Trenton Library, for a family-friendly stroll to the downtown park with the Trenton Library Book Club, and library staff!
3:00pm – Stellarton Library, for a family-friendly stroll with the Afterschool@Library kids, and library staff!
6:30pm – River John Library, for a family-friendly sunset stroll along the beautiful Sunrise Trail with local authors, Linda Little and Monica Graham and library staff!
Nova Scotia Walk Day uses the success of Walkabout to bring together communities and individuals from across the province to participate in a walk and celebrate the joyful side of walking.Take the first step and see where walking will take you!
