Once, I had a client who was a sculptor. She explained, when clay arrives at the studio it is in a 'solid' block. In other words, the molecules of the clay were so tightly packed together that it appeared 'solid'. When she began to 'work' and roll the clay, the molecules would separate which would allow for movement and elasticity of the clay. It was not until she made SPACE that her structures could take shape.

In this workshop we will explore ways that you can create space in your body, so that you can more easily take on new movement patterns. Together we will take simple tools and explore how to tap into and listen to our own bodies' bio-intelligence allowing that space to open where and when we need it. We will play with movement and myofascial release to explore where and how our bodies hold that 'solid' pattern, and how we might yield to gravity in a different way.
