Do you run, hike, wear high heels, or wear tight shoes? Do your feet ever feel tired or achy? Do you have plantar fasciitis, bunions, or other pain in your feet or legs? Our feet are our foundation. We use them every day to support our weight, move us from place to place, and help stabilize us on uneven ground. Our feet are often forgotten about in our workout regiments. Yoga is one modality that actually spends time working with and promoting foot health.
On Wednesday, May 9 from 6:00pm – 7:00pm local yoga instructor Colleen Theobald will host a “Happy Feet” work-shop at Pine River Library where participants can learn fun, simple, and easy ways to take care of and pamper their feet using yoga, massage and therapy balls. There is a $10.00 fee for the class, which includes two therapy balls. No experience in yoga is necessary, bring a mat (if possible) and water bottle.
