What will we be doing?
During the workshop we will be exploring physical and relaxation exercises to encourage connection, mindfulness, strength, balance and flexibility with oneself
Supporting emotional and physical wellbeing with partner yoga, mindfulness, massage, essential oils and a creative art project.
Releasing tension and stress
Energising, inspiring and supporting ourselves and each other to be the very best expression of who we can be.
Who is this for?
Teens from ages 12 to 16 years old
No yoga experience required :)

"I came to blooming hearts yoga because I was looking for something different to do. I was looking for different ways to “workout”. I also play netball so I wanted something different from a contact, court and team sport. The thought of yoga appealed to me because it sounded relaxing and calming whilst also doing exercise. Yoga also helped me with my netball because by doing yoga and stretching my muscles and looking after them better I was able to perform better in netball too. It was nice to be able to come to class and talk to everyone in the class and the teacher about not only yoga but other things. It was a really friendly environment which was about practicing yoga but having fun and using your mind in different ways to how you would normally. Crafts were sometimes incorporated into the yoga session which was a funky spin to the class and was so much fun!! I loved going to yoga!" Charli
Tammy is a trained children's and teens yoga teacher with a passion for empowering our young people to be the best expression of themselves. She has been working and studying in the field for sometime within schools, kindys, library's in the Hills and city and with Head Space at Murray Bridge, and specialising in children with anxiety, depression and special needs.
