In the Heights, the smash debut musical by Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton), explores the lives and dreams of several small business owners in the predominantly Latino neighborhood of Washington Heights in modern-day New York City. The show's unique blend of Salsa, Merengue, and Hip-Hop makes for a one-of-a-kind theatrical experience that PTG kids are thrilled to present. Director Christopher Campbell (UM Musical Theatre Student) performed the show professionally last summer and is committed to communicating the show's innate humanity and mesmerizing choreography. Join us in experiencing the rhythm, energy, dreams, and passion of Washington Heights!
