#var:page_name# cover

On this one-day workshop with tutor Amanda Beck, students will be given a unique opportunity to sketch an Egyptian dancer.

To set the mood and get students into the creative spirit, the day will begin with a short exclusive tour of the Museum's Egyptian artefacts. With support and demonstrations from the tutor, students will then be encouraged to explore intuitive approaches to drawing, as well as experimenting with a range of techniques and materials. The course will cover mark making to music form, movement, rhythm and gestural drawing.

All abilities are welcome (although some experience of figure drawing would be an advantage).

Cost: £90 (Includes use of all materials, short tour of museum & sandwich lunch)

Amanda Beck is a reportage artist, illustrator and an experienced tutor with a background in museum education. To find out more about Amanda, please see https://www.amandabeckartist.com.
