Experience hope and healing through guided healing arts sessions at Plains Art Museum. On April 24, create a mixed media collage dedicated to a loved one. Participants are welcome to bring personal ephemera and mementos, such as letters, significant papers, photos, etc. that they would like to incorporate into their artwork.
Open to individuals and families who have been impacted by substance abuse, Art of Hope and Healing workshops provide a safe and uplifting space to share and heal through gentle art activities led by trained therapeutic arts facilitator Nikki Anderson. Participants are invited to view art in the Museum’s galleries and create original art in a creative and non-threatening studio environment. All skill levels are welcome in this casual workshop.
Art of Hope and Healing: Layers of Love was also offered in March 2018. We ask that you register for one of these two sessions, to enable others to experience this workshop.
$5 registration. Scholarships available: contact email@example.com for more information. This workshop is supported by the Bush Foundation.
