Yin Yoga 2 Day Urban Retreat exploring four emotions of the body through four muscle groups: Fear, Guilt, Shame & Anger.
Traditional Chinese Medicine, Daoism, Vendatism, Ayurveda, Shamanism, Buddhism & modern psychological inquiry all share a common consciousness that unsurfaced or explored emotion will in time create subtle restrictions or blockage to the smooth flow of energy/qi/prana within us. These energetic and emotional tumours can be dormant within us for years, only surfacing at times of great stress or uncertainty. However their unconscious presence has a powerful affect on the choices we make, our wellbeing and the quality of life we engage in. By awakening ourselves to an insightfull practice that helps to develops safe and conscious inquiry, we can begin to feel the physical, emotional, mental and interpersonal connection inside empowering us towards optimal and vibrant health.
Using the incredible healing and powerful practice of Yin Yoga we'll embark on a mandala of the lower body to awaken the emotional grasp these tensions can play on the minds, actions, behavioural patterns & decisions. By releasing and observing these patterns, sensations & feelings, we can help create a life free from emotional restraint and open to a more peaceful, calmer and tranquil experience.
