About Zaeden - In his relatively short time in the industry, Sahil Sharma aka Zaeden has reached the ranks of the globetrotting DJ/producers to shine through out of the burgeoning Indian music scene. Born in New Delhi, India on 2nd July 1995, he became interested in music at an early age and dropped out of high school to pursue his passion. At just 14 years of age, he started to create music out of his living room. What started as a leisurely pursuit of personal experimentation, quickly became the core career for this zestful young musician. After discovering the emergent Indian club scene, Sahil began performing short DJ sets, before traveling overseas to hone his skill and playing at various international clubs over a twelve-month period. Returning to his home country, he started working intently on his releases and collaborations. It was not long before he became noticed globally with the speed at which he was ascending. Especially when he became the first Indian artist to be signed by the world's biggest dance music label - Music All Star Publishing (Spinnin’ Records) in 2014.

2015 saw him release a remix of the iconic rock band Coldplay’s “Magic.” The track reached the Top 10 list in over 15 countries, including owning the #1 position in Lebanon, and was premiered on the biggest radio shows around the world. The same year, his single "Yesterday" was released on Spinnin’ Records featuring Billboard platinum record producer Borgeous. The track crossed 1.5 million views, along with earning a #3 spot on Beatport, and Top 10 on Billboard dance charts. High-profile unofficial remixes of Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself” and Maroon 5’s “Animals,” earned him rave reviews and an increased fan following in the global circuit. 2016 gave him another edge with the hit single "Never Let You Go," featuring electro pop-duo Nina x Malika, along with Cimo Fränkel on vocals, garnering over 4 million hits. In the same year, he also delivered a TED Talk on the growing emergence of dance music.

Continuing his steady success, Zaeden further amplified his global market presence with the official remix of Maroon 5’s "Don’t Wanna Know" in 2017, which saw 1M+ plays. The follow-up single of the year, "City Of The Lonely Hearts," again featuring Cimo Fränkel on vocals was released on Spinnin’ Records. It carried Zaeden to dizzying heights and saw unprecedented chart dominance with 1M plays. The same year, Zaeden expanded his horizons by collaborating with one of Bollywood’s biggest singers Ankit Tiwari on the single “Tere Jaane Se,” which was released on one of the leading Hindi-pop music labels, Zee Music, and crossed 2M+ views on YouTube. He wrapped up 2017 by having the best year on Spotify for an Indian artist yet, touching 61 countries / 1M fans / 321K hours.

Starting 2018 with a bang, Zaeden took it up a notch and surprised his followers when he put out a stunning acoustic version of LAUV’s ‘I Like Me Better’ in collaboration with Indian singer Chezin. The track features Zaeden’s vocals for the very first time, and it goes to show how versatile and dynamic this young artist really is. He likes to push boundaries and explore different aspects of being a musician and he’s going to do the same with singing, taking this newfound direction seriously and incorporating his vocals in upcoming music. Zaeden now prefers adding live elements to his stage sets, even performing the vocals and rhythm guitar parts by himself.

With an extensive touring calendar in India and overseas, Zaeden has played at some of the most prominent music festivals like Tomorrowland, Marenostrum Festival, Pacha Tour, Sunburn, TimeOut72, Enchanted Valley Carnival, Vh1 Supersonic, Mood Indigo, along with clubs like Pacha, Privilege Ibiza. He’s also the first Indian producer to become the fashion brand ambassador for Adidas and Nnnow.com. Dance music forerunners like Hardwell, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Avicii, Tiësto, and KSHMR, have endorsed Zaeden as one of the most promising homegrown electronic music producers from Asia.

His onstage enthusiasm translates into a remarkable energy and vibe. An influencer amongst the millennial generation, Zaeden was awarded the Best House DJ by MyFav Awards, India, along with featuring in the GQ “Best Dressed 2016 List” and Mens XP "Top 50 Indians Who Defined Fashion In 2016" List. At the top of his game, there’s no looking back for Zaeden, and he will continue to create and produce breakthrough music.
