POLDARK ORGAN POLYPHONY in conjunction with the FAIR ORGAN PRESERVATION SOCIETY - A TWO day Festival of preserved Fairground Organs together with performances on some of our five pipe organs in the Cornish Heritage Collection. The Carharrack & St Day Silver Band will be playing on the Bandstand at Poldark Tin Mine Tea Lawn on the Sunday afternoon.

A most enchanting place to relax and listen to the wonderful sound of mechanical fair organs and a cornish Brass Band in the beautiful woodland that surrounds the waterways and gardens at Poldark Mine & Museum.

Make a day of it and visit the several levels of the 18th century mine and hand worked stope shafts and caverns for the adventure of a lifetime.

The Cornish Heritage Collection was founded in 1966 and includes the core of the former Holman Museum Collection.

The mine was rediscovered and opened to visitors in 1975. There is nowhere else in Cornwall to take a safe, real and genuine underground mine tour deep below the rural fields of West Cornwall. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and the location of a unique Bronze Age Scheduled Ancient Monument. - our "Tin Henge"

Bring cushions and a travelling rug if weather is cool. Picnics are most welcome on the lower lawn picnic tables - leaf tea and real ground coffee with cream always available, beers, wines and spirits, ices etc.
