Front Splits & Straddle Pancake Intensive Workshop
Would you love to be able to do the splits? If your answer is yes, look no further! This is an intensive workshop teaching you effective techniques for achieving front & side straddle splits.
This workshop will target all the major muscle groups that are essential for achieving your goal giving you a solid platform from which to get results, using the effective techniques of Stretch Therapy.
How does ST (Stretch Therapy) Work and how is it different to other stretching strategies?
Isometric stretching is one of the fastest ways to develop increased flexibility. Stretch Therapy elements allow anyone to improve flexibility and seems to decrease the amount of pain usually associated with
stretching.
The core technique of Stretch Therapy in respect of improving range of movement of any parts, or whole-body functions is the Contract-Relax (C-R) approach based on the method called PNF (proprioceptive
neuromuscular facilitation)
Any stretch affects all systems of the body. C-R Stretch Therapy evolved with the input from Yoga, Pilates, Dance, Gymnastics and Japanese exercise forms.
All levels welcome. Students will be given movements appropriate to their needs.
