We went from the orange grove and beyond to bring you 2 new brews this weekend. Come on by the brewery, grab a beer or 2, and hang out with us.
Grove Yard Orange Pale Ale
ABV: 5.9% / IBUs: 33
We saved some of this year’s Louisiana citrus harvest for this beer showcasing Mandarina Bavaria hops. This light-bodied copper ale uses a combination of freshly squeezed juice and hops to create an orange citrusy character in the beer. Our goal was to have the hops and fruit reinforce the other, rather than one lie on top of the other. Grove Yard is fruity and refreshing with just enough sweetness to beg that second sip.
Night Dive Black Pilsner
ABV: 4.9% / IBUs: 28
Things can get a little upside-down when you are on a Night Dive and this beer is rather similar as it plays with your perceptions and exceptions. Deep brown in color, with some caramel and hints of roasted malt character. Hopped throughout with Czech Saaz and French Strisselspalt. Bitterness is moderate and balanced by the malt profile. Hop aroma and flavor is medium to strong, exhibiting slightly floral, herbal and spicy notes.
