Learn to create a simple ricotta-style cheese, European-style cultured butter, and creme fraiche at home!
This workshop begins with a LECTURE on the history, nutritive value and simple technique of fresh cheese and butter making. We will DEMONSTRATE curdling the milk to make the cheese and get HANDS-ON with churning the butter. We get to TASTE everything we make with fresh bread, jam and crackers. Lastly, students will MAKE THEIR OWN creme fraiche to enjoy at home.
