Learn to create your own delicious milk kefir and yogurt at home that rival their store-bought counterparts.
This workshop begins with a LECTURE on the history, nutritive value and simple technique of fermenting dairy two ways. We will DEMONSTRATE the simple steps of yogurt making and kefir brewing. Students will get to TASTE an assortment of the finished results including Greek yogurt, coconut yogurt, yogurt cheese, milk kefir, golden milk kefir and coconut kefir! Students will get to TAKE HOME their own heirloom kefir cultures to make batch after batch of milk kefir at home!
