Paddling for Prevention: Three paddles, two dads, one cause

Get Directions

#var:page_name# cover

Two Prevent Child Abuse North Carolina board members, Zeke Bridges and Thomas Moore, will bring awareness of proven and effective child abuse prevention efforts during Child Abuse Prevention Month.

Their journey begins, by way of a kayak (Zeke) and paddle board (Thomas), in Seven Springs on April 24th and 70 miles later, by way of the Neuse River, ending in New Bern on the 26th.

They'll battle muscle fatigue, wind, and the occasional snake for three days to raise awareness and support in order to “go upstream” for children and families.

Support their efforts by becoming a sponsor, making a donation in support of Paddling for Prevention, or just follow them on their journey through this Facebook event!

We will be keeping tabs on them with a GoPro, photos, live video and more!
