Have you always wanted to learn more about the incredibly popular activity of Stand up Paddle Boarding (SUP)? Well now is your opportunity to step onto a board and develop some skills over a 3-session program designed especially for curious beginners and newcomers to SUP.
This fun 3-session program is offered under the Mackay Regional Council Inspiring an Active Mackay (I AM) initiative, for women who are new to this activity and wanting to learn a little bit more.
The sessions include professional instruction on SUP safety, technique, turns and moves on the board and ongoing support to engage in longer-term activities and events for health and fitness.
The I AM SUP program is also about connecting with other local women, sharing experiences, developing new friendships and starting/getting back into physical activity.
