April 21 - Pasture Weed Control – Staff (CEU) – Controlling pasture weeds is perhaps the single most important thing you can do to increase the amount of grass you have for your livestock. While we have an abundance of tools that we can use to control both broadleaf and grassy weeds (both Restricted and Non Restricted), achieving success is often about weed identification, product selection, rates, timing, proper application and adjuvant selection. This is a big topic for a single class but we think we can give you some good general guidelines to follow. You are welcome to bring in plant samples for identification (please pull them fresh and put them in ziplock bags with a wet paper towel inside to keep them from drying out). This class qualifies for one General CEU for your Private Pesticide Applicator’s License. Please remember the new start time for 2018 is 10:00 a.m. This class will be held in the meeting room beside the dock.
