VOLUNTEER SESSIONS take place at various locations on Tuesday (see also Monday) and we occasionally work on the Lancashire Environmental Fund project for Whinney Hill where volunteers will improve access into, and through the site; encourage greater usage and undertake habitat improvements to enhance the existing flora and fauna. The site is an industrial reclamation site that was landscaped and planted with trees a number of decades ago. Volunteers will be involved in the eradication of Himalayan Balsam, installing new entrance gates, a notice board, bird boxes, benches, and way markers. The volunteers will also work at the same locations as the Monday Conservation Group. Contact Roger Plum if you need transport to the practical sessions.

Sessions take place at various locations on a Tuesday and may not be at Whinney Hill. Roger will text the meeting point to volunteers in advance.
