We will be open for First Friday!!
Get your sunscreen ready and those beach balls blown because QUAID is having ~tropical dreams~ for First Friday this Friday, April 6th, 7-10P.
The artist run gallery space in Tampa is pleasured and pleased to announce a collaborative show between Lauren Maryam Moradi and a whole slew of goodness.
This time around the QUAID artist is taking a more backseat approach by framing the space with her drawn sculptures, a little bit of wall painting, and featuring black and white works by artists all over who submitted to an open call put out by the space.

Because girls (& boys) just wanna have fun.
A whole hell of a lot of work and effort put in by the members of QUAID.
FREE BEER AND ALL THAT.
You can eat the ice too as snacks if you want, I won't stop you as long as the beer's cold.
**You know the deal:
You can very gently and carefully interact with the drawn sculptures by Moradi, HOWEVER let's keep our hands out of our pants and off of the pieces on the wall. This invitation extends only to the sculptural pieces and the gallery insists that you DO NOT touch the pieces hung on the walls.
Don't do it, don't touch the pieces on the walls.
But do come to this show and hang out.
Bring blunts and your bodies, just like you would to go to the beach.
QUAID is an artist-run project space in Seminole Heights that grew out of Tampa Drawer's Sketch Gang, a weekly meeting of drawing based artists that turned into much more, and just returned from a brief hiatus. Since 2014 the space has been bringing some real juicy feasts for the eyes to the gallery table in Tampa, FL including solo exhibitions by it's members and various other group shows and events.
