First I would like to thank those that donated for your generosity. I can not believe that this post has been shared 19k times! That is so awesome! Her list of Guardian Angels continues to grow. In a couple weeks I will be giving her the wings you all so kindly donated.

I know this is off topic for the Quarter Mile Foundation but it is the best means I have to reach out for us to help a child rise from her abusive life. If you have to delete it I understand but please consider first before you do so and read on.

Rachel will be 18 soon, abandoned by her biological parents at 4 years old and then taken in and adopted by her current parents, she has known nothing but physical and mental abuse her entire life as well as sexual abuse. Constant mental and physical beatings with fists and objects, from having a knife held to her throat, being strangled, thrown against walls, left in the winter cold for hours waiting to get picked up from her job, which she recently lost (due to her mother sending the police to her work just because she didn't want Rachel working that day), to her earnings taken from her and countless more abuses. Rachel's full story can be found by clicking on the link below.

I started a "Go fund Me" Campaign about a month ago and so far we are doing very well. I would like to give you some updates and progress that has been made for Rachel.

1. I have been in contact with a child advocate agency and they are going to send me information and links where Rachel can get various support from the Government and State. I.E. Medicaid, financial aid for college, as well as aid to live on. We can not do anything until she is 18 and it will take some time for it all to process but it is a start to help get her on her feet.

2. I am sure this question has come mind "Why has this not been reported" - It has been reported, numerous times to CPS, her friends parents, myself, school counselors and the police. Nothing has been done. I even contacted our Attorney General to no avail. Minors have no rights or resources, I have a friend in Texas who is part of a special victim unit and even she couldn't find a way for me to get her out of the house now. What I do not understand is why CPS gives the parent a heads up they are coming to investigate, that gives plenty of time to get the home in order and put the fear of God into the child to not say anything, which is exactly what Rachel has had to do. It sickens me.

What I also find astounding is even shelters require a parent or guardian signature to allow them in. When it is the parent doing the abusing how useful is that! Our system is so broke for abused children.

3. Rachel will be able to go to Prom! She has a supporter to replace her prom dress that was ripped up. Big hug goes out to Jim Stuempfle for his kindness.

4. In a couple weeks I will be withdrawing the donations all of Rachel's Guardian Angels have given. Hopefully we can get her number up more before I do that.

Something I wish I thought of - people are sending clothes, gift cards, support cards, toiletries etc...That is a awesome idea. One wonderful lady works at the corporation that makes all the Dial soap products and more and is sending a box of goodies from there. A friend of mine Dina Parise is sending her clothes as they are the same size.

If you wish to do something of that nature or even send a check or money order - Please make it out and send to: Traci Hrudka 6210 Beverly Dr. Cleveland, OH 44130.

Again, I know this is off topic but I hope you will understand the reason behind trying to get this word out for this child. Most of you know me, my foundation and my family - The Hrudka - Mr. Gasket Family. I know our industry would not stand for this and are always there to help a child especially one of abuse. We can unite to save the life of a child, it's in our blood. #standupforrachel #rachelstrong
