Forestry was one of the first industries to be established to serve the building needs of the new national capital. In 1994, Brendan O'Keefe interviewed some of the people who established and worked in the forests which are such a beautiful feature and still play such an important role in the regional enviornment.

Come and hear how these stories came to be published in the new book Forest capital: Canberra's foresters and forestry workers tell their story.

Free event. Bookings essential by 9 April on 6285 6255.
