What is HypnoBirthing?
HypnoBirthing is a practice that focuses on relaxation techniques to help a woman feel physically, mentally and spiritually prepared for childbirth. During the 5 weeks you will learn how important remaing calm and confident throughout your baby's birth is and how to do exactly that. Partners are also given important roles in the support of the birthing mom. HypnoBirthing can reduce the fear, anxiety and discomfort often experienced during childbirth. HypnoBirthing can be used in combination with many other birthing strategies and techniques.
When in your pregnancy should you attend classes?
You can begin HypnoBirthing at any time, however, keep in mind relaxation is more easily achieved when we practice relaxation. The more we practice, the easier we can relax, especially in unique and new situations, which childbirth is. Committing to the classes earlier in your pregnancy will give you time to practice the techniques and will result in a more relaxed, enjoyable pregnancy.
