THE FONZIE SCHEME
What a punk rock band would sound like if we grew up during the Happy Days.
JESSE W. JOHNSON
Jesse W. Johnson plays hooky-yet-dark rock & roll with the tiniest little twinge of country twang. Johnson is a veteran of the Chicago scene, having reached local acclaim fronting Jet W. Lee, and his experience is immediately apparent upon first listen. As a solo artist, Johnson presents tight, muscular songcraft with beautiful melodies and surprisingly dark lyrics. Most of all, Johnson does something not so common today, tell a story, and it’s thoughtful word choice in his music that helps the listener personalize each song.
The Miles Maxwell band formed in August 2017 after lead singer/guitarist Miles Baltrusaitis enlisted the help of brothers Matt and Dan Stankiewicz. Children of a music teaching father in Western Massachusetts, Matt's classical education in percussion informs his approach to the drums while Dan inherited his father's passion for vintage keys.
