Local businesses are operating in an increasingly global economy, however it is a two-way-street and businesses need to understand what their digital presence is and how they fit within their market. There are incredible opportunities online, however businesses need to ensure they are staying competitive within their marketplace. While almost all businesses today have an online presence, the intensity varies significally between businesses, with estimates suggesting less than a quarter of businesses actually make e-commerce sales.
The Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce will be hosting 2 workshop (second workshop will be on 1st May) that will give SME's a better understanding of the digital marketplace and the ability to identify opportunities and areas of growth within the digital marketplace. The Chamber will host the same workshop over 2 dates, however numbers per workshop are limited. These workshops are supported by Toowoomba Regional Council and will be presented by Director and Founder of Yoonet Ben Carter.
