Saturday, April 14th, 3PM
Tickets are $20 each available for purchase at QuiltWorks
Sew Teach Me is a non-profit 501(c)3 that matches trained and screened mentors with children to learn to sew in a safe comfortable environment at no cost to the youth.
Sew Teach Me is going National! Funds raised from Sew Inspired! will go towards the National Promotion at International Quilt Market in May!
Harriet Langmas has been sewing since she was four years old and is now 86 years young! She has been around the world sharing her patterns, designs and numerous talents. She now makes sweaters, pillows, hats and gift bags every day and generously shares them with the Central Oregon community and beyond.
Kim Kinney is the owner of Rugged Thread, a business which repairs and recycles outdoor apparel and gear. She is focusing on training others to make an impact on waste reduction in the outdoor industry. Last October at the Bend Venture Conference, Rugged Thread won the top prize among 40 other applicants at the Tower Theater.
Event is at QuiltWorks.
