The Qutub Minar is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Mehrauli area of Delhi. The main minar is a 239.5 feet tall tapering tower of five storeys, thought to have been designed on the lines of the Minaret of Jam, Afghanistan. It is surrounded by several historically significant monuments of the Qutab complex, including Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque, and the much older Iron Pillar of Delhi.
To shoot here on a clear morning is a photographer's delight! Be it the Minar itself or the intricate calligraphy engraved on the red-stone-walls, every bit of the monument complex is inspiring.
The walk will include a 20-minute introductory session on photography / DSLR camera handling.
