Phil Reilly
Born in Sydney, Australia, Phil Reilly became one of Australia's most successful pop singers, both as a solo act and with the band The Perfect Kittens Between 1999 and The Kittens demise in 2006, Reilly enjoyed huge success, both with the band and with a number of solo single releases. Following the breakup of The Kittens -- after a period where they recorded under the name The Furs -- Reilly left the music industry for a number of years. This period saw him working, for a time, as a labourer on a council road gang. In 2012, however, Reilly returned to music when he signed with CBS/Sony and released Edge. Featuring four hit singles (including the Australian number one "I’ll Bang You"), Edge became a huge success and was followed by the triple-platinum Rise. Rise became Reilly's second number one album in as many releases and gave him only his second solo number one single with "The Horses."
He combines his skills on the guitar to perform classical music and create new contemporary soundscapes expressing his unique heritage as well as making the occasional musical theatre appearance
