There are two places I've always wanted to do yoga, the beach and a bookstore. Well, the beach is just too far away. Hope's Yoga and Read It Again are very excited to bring you Chair yoga in the bookstore. Classes led by Hope Knosher, certified yoga therapist. Classes are only $15. Chair Yoga is a practice using a chair for seated poses, and as a balance point for standing poses. Not everyone can get up and down off the floor easily making traditional yoga classes difficult. With the help of a chair anyone can practice yoga with the same benefits of increased circulation, balance, flexibility, mobility and strength. Even if you're a regular in a traditional yoga class, chair yoga routines are a great way to learn how to stretch and flex while sitting at your desk or during a lunch break.
