Jenna Mammina and Rolf Sturm are an acoustic duo presenting jazz and pop standards, as well as originals. Some of the material will be off of their two recordings, and some might be made up on the spot with the audience!

ABOUT THE ARTISTS:
Vocalist Jenna Mammina has been recognized as one of the leading women of the jazz/pop crossover for three years in a row by Jazziz magazine. She has performed with Ricki Lee Jones, Bobby McFerrin, Al Jarreau, David Sanborn, Phish, and Rosemary Clooney. Mammina has appeared at Yoshi’s in Oakland, The Green Mill in Chicago, and festivals like Jazz Aspen, New Orleans Jazz & Heritage, and Monterey San Francisco.
Appearing on over 65 albums, guitarist Rolf Sturm has performed with or been on recordings featuring Loudon Wainwright, David Johansen (Buster Poindexter/NY Dolls), Jorma Kaukonen (Jefferson Airplane), Maggie Roche, Eddie Arnold, Ike Willis (Frank Zappa), Roswell Rudd, Archie Shepp, Tony Trischka, John Medeski, and Catherine Russell. Sturm has also performed at the JVC Jazz Festival, Syracuse Jazz Festival, Toronto Jazz Festival, Lincoln Center, and the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. His music has been featured on NPR and has received four stars in DownBeat magazine.
The acoustic duo has been Mammina and Sturm’s main focus since 2015. Together, they have toured throughout the United States, Europe, and Mexico performing at festivals, conferences, clubs, cafes, and house concerts. Their albums, Spark and Begin to Dance, have received rave reviews and airplay nationwide.
