Come join one of America’s best-loved television families - The Addams Family - as they face their most terrifying adventure yet: Wednesday is growing up and has fallen in love with a “normal” boy (Lucas) from Ohio. After disclosing her true feelings for Lucas to her father (Gomez) and having him swear to keep the first-ever secret from her mother (his wife Morticia), we learn that Wednesday has planned an evening dinner so that the two families can get acquainted and, if they get along, reveal the young couple’s plan to marry. All Wednesday wants is “One Normal Night” which, when it comes to the Addams Family (Gomez, Morticia, Uncle Fester, Grandma, Pugsley and Lurch) and a host of “dead” ancestors, is next to impossible.
Over the course of the evening each character must face her or his fears of new and ever-changing relationships, only to discover that, when it comes to love, it really IS “family first and family last and family by and by.”
