Pachanga is a six week celebration of Latin American music and culture taking place at East London's newest Live music venue Redon!

Run by the team that brought you Meadows in the Mountains Festival, Redon aims to showcase and promote London's most captivating, innovative and diverse Live music & DJ's.

Free entry before 9pm / £5 after.
Last entry: Midnight.

De Fuego is a sensational guitar duo, playing energetic instrumental flamenco and rumba-based music


April:
Friday 6th - AfroSamba
Brazilian band covering styles such as Afro Brazilian Jazz, Samba and Bossa Nova

Saturday 7th - Elpidio & Su Alegria Latina
Elpidio with his Orquesta delivers his own blend of infectious happiness to the dance floor. They mix together a rich life time of latin flavour taking the swing from his hometown of Buenaventura, Colombia, and the rhythm of Cali, Colombia - 'the capital of salsa' - the tradition of Cuba and style of New York!

Friday 13th - Cuban Ensemble
Rey Crespo & Cuban Ensemble is considered to be one of London finest in Modern Latin Jazz, Salsa, Afro Cuban and Cuba Music.

Saturday 14th - Son Yambu
Son Yambu play authentic Cuban son - the essential Afro-Cuban sound that originated in the streets of eastern Cuba and gave rise to modern salsa.

Friday 20th - Grupo Lokito
Grupo Lokito fuse contemporary Congolese and Cuban music creating a modern day cocktail of two of the great world musics.

Saturday 21st - Dorance Lorza & Sexteto Cafe
Dorance Lorza & Sexteto Cafe have been one of the leading bands in the vibrant and exciting London salsa scene since they formed in 1996. They were the pioneers of the worldwide "salsa con vibes" revival of the late 1990s, they were one of the first bands in Europe to favour the small combo salsa sound of 1960s/1970s bands like Joe Cuba Sextet/ New Swing Sextet/Pete Terrace Combo!

Friday 27th - Diego Laverde Rojas
Colombian harp virtuoso Diego Laverde Rojas plays folk songs on the arpa llanera (a harp from the lowland region between Colombia and Venezuela).

Sarabanda is a 5-6 piece band who play Cuban son and vibrant salsa with a serious groove. The band’s obvious love of the music they play is evident in the passionate and exuberant arrangements of both original material and Cuban classics.
