In the month of March we feel the change in the air. We see around us the signs of transition from winter to the hope of spring. In this practice we seek to move from reaction to reflection. To adjust, adapt and acclimatize. We will transition from movement toward stillness, from performing asana to being present in asana. Long hold times and yin postures may be expected as we release into present moment awareness. March is a time when the sap begins to run through the trees. Taking our lesson from nature, in practice the tension dissolves and new life begins to flow. Students will learn use of Mudra and Mantra.
