Beth Stoker
May 2018
"Currently, I use art making as a way to cope with anxiety and to ease tension of everyday life. I can escape into the art process and get lost in the application of paint and mixed materials. It offers a relaxing calm wave that sooths the stressors of life and the outside world dissolves. Under a backlight, my paintings will glow and a mesmerizing image will emerge. It naturally creates a juxtaposition within the work, which takes it from day to night, which likewise reflects our Burning Man culture and the Casino nightlife of Northern Nevada."
Join us on 2nd Thursdays for an artist installment in our 1995 Gallery, furthering the constant movement of art.. Whatever form that art may take. Discover interactive exhibits, enjoy live music, drink from our donations based beer and wine bar, and meet artists in our RAW space on 1995 Dickerson Rd.

For inquiries, please contact the current gallery manager and curator, J Fry (Jessica Fry) at art@renoartworks.org.
