The training is designed to provide real estate licensees, property managers, homeowners’ associations, office staff and maintenance employees with resources and tools to recognize and address potential fair housing issues.

Fair Housing Basics: Focus on the federal Fair Housing Act (FHA) and state Fair Housing Laws, current trends and cases.
Families and Advertising under the FHA: Issues including rules, occupancy standards, and senior housing exemptions and Advertising Guidelines under the FHA.
Fair Housing & Persons with Disabilities: Protections for persons with disabilities under the Fair Housing Act Learn the definition of disability, what you can/cannot ask, and issues involving reasonable accommodations/modifications.
