There are both strengths and weaknesses within the public school system, particularly in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, including public charter schools and there is currently an urgency to begin to work together instead of “fighting” or blaming each other for the lack of positive results for all students. Join us in a panel discussion that will address how we can leverage what is working to address the need to increase the probability that all students have equitable access to quality public schools, K-12. We will also discuss what can be done to create a positive collaborative environment between and among public charter and district schools to share best practices at the classroom, school building, and district levels towards the goal of an effective public school in every neighborhood for all students.
This event is open to the public.
