How can you create and foster a healthy workplace, what does that mean and what role does everyone play? It’s been 5 years since the National Standard for Occupational & Psychological Health & Safety was launched, in todays fast paced, high stress and continuously adapting environments how does your company measure up and how can you reduce excess stress in your workplace?

Join us for an evening of networking and discussions as we tackle mental health from three industry panelists with a Q&A!

Elizabeth Rankin-Horvath, B.A.Sc., CRSP
Founder and President, Hale Health and Safety Solutions Ltd.

A Ryerson Alumni, Elizabeth was Project Manager on the development of the National Standard of Canada on Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace, and has worked with organizations across the country during her 20+ year career as a Canadian Registered Safety Professional. Elizabeth has a strong professional and personal understanding of the link between health and safety, employee wellbeing and business outcomes. As a Psychological Health and Safety Consultant and International Speaker, her current work focuses on transforming workplaces from toxic to terrific. Elizabeth is a member of the International Association on Workplace Bullying and Harassment (IAWBH), the Crisis Trauma Research Institute (CRTI), and Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) and serves on the Board of Directors for the Toronto Chapter of the Canadian Society of Safety Engineers (CSSE). A beaming grandma to 2 beautiful grandsons, she also serves in local missions and supports charitable organizations that work to restore the health, safety, rights and dignity of the poor and oppressed.
