Named for the Greek goddess of the hunt, this German ensemble is defined by the breathtaking passion of its playing, and their deep commitment to music education (all members teach at the Universität der Künste Berlin and Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth in Brussels). Artemis' program on our stage is a departure from its signature Beethoven settings, featuring Mozart’s third Prussian quartet, known for its intricate counterpoint, Bartok's devastating Quartet No. 2, and Schumann's lush and expressive Quartet in A Minor Op. 41, No. 1.
