The Volunteer Round Up Day is a day set aside for any past or new volunteers looking to help out with our riding lessons.

Riding For Dreams Standards requires all volunteers to go through a minimum of 1 hour in training so that we can discuss our expecations of a volunteer and have a chance to answer any questions prior to lessons. It is very hard to cover everything we need/want to cover the day you show up to volunteer at lessons.

What we do: Cover saferty guidelines, show you around the barn, go through a typcial lesson, cover our privacy standards and have you fill out the volunteer registration paperwork.

Volunteers are needed!
We need Sidewalkers- Volunteers who walk beside the horse and our student, they help with guiding them through the instructors lesson, may help them physically with their balance and posture on the horse, depending on the student. Also help in keeping them safe on the horse.
We need Horse Handlers- Volunteers who lead the horses, full focus and attention goes to the horse in class and awareness of where the rest of the students are in class. This night we do set aside time for you to work with each individual horse so you get to know them and we can work with you in getting to know them.

Not sure if volunteering is for you? Take this time as a chance to come out and see our facility and listen to what we go over!

WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO ANOTHER GREAT YEAR!
