The Community Mindfulness Meditation series is a chance to experience the great benefits this simple practice can bring to your health and overall wellbeing.
At each session:
• Featured presenter will share insights to their meditation practice and lead a 20-30 minute guided meditation session.
• Learn simple mindful exercises that increase your awareness and focus.
• Learn about Mindfulness groups and activities and programs in our community.
• Mingle and a enjoy a light snack.
Four Qualities of Mindfulness
Meditator and professional counselor, Scott Spradlin will present on four qualities of mindfulness: Presence, awareness, relaxation and kindness. Scott will present a mini- didactic on each of these qualities, providing examples of each with ideas on how to cultivate these qualities as part of your mindfulness practice Scott will also lead our community in a sitting meditation practice intended to help us cultivate these qualities.
