3D : Documentary, Dessert & Discussion

Join Tegan Wong-Daugherty, teacher and director of the Knowlesville Art & Nature School for a lively exploration of Enki Education. She will be screening a short video on the Enki Approach to Education and sharing her own journey discovering this pedagogical curriculum as a homeschooling mom and more recently as a founding member of the Art & Nature School initiative.

What is Enki?

Enki Education is a unique and innovative approach: a multicultural, arts-integrated classroom and homeschool curriculum. Academics are taught through the arts and brought to mastery in an integrated and meaningful manner.

The Enki approach, known as Developmental-Immersion Mastery weaves together many rich and diverse elements, all in the context of child development, in order to support its fundamental premise - that the integration of body, heart, and mind is key to cultivating educational excellence, confidence, and competence.

This individual confidence and wellbeing is inseparable from the wellbeing of the communities of our lives – families, neighbors, the global community. For this reason, Enki has developed a Classroom and Homeschool curriculum in which the children can see their own strengths & struggles reflected in all peoples, and can experience human greatness in all, regardless of nationality, race, or religion.

All welcome. This will be taking place DOWNSTAIRS in the River Art Centre (upstairs is basket making this evening) :)
