Powerful messages of strength, love, and a darn good time are what are in store when Barb Soetebier is in the house! Her delivery of high-energy passion, angst, and humor with a voice full of soul and emotion has been compared with the likes of Melissa Etheridge, Janis Joplin, and Stevie Nicks. Barb is a native of Eureka, Missouri, and began her professional music career at age 13. She has contributed her bluesie vocals to various groups over the years including Diver, The Groove Dogs, Butchwax & the Hollywoods, Soul Reunion, and Pik’n Lik’n. She has performed and/or recorded with such greats as the Bell Airs, Rock-N-Roll Hall of Famer Johnny Johnson, Oliver Sain, Pat Liston, and Marcel Strong, just to mention a few. Barb’s debut CD Peace of Mind was released in 2007. Next CD has been a work in progress in hopes of being released in 2019. For concert and other information, visit www.barbsoetebier.com.
