The Ted Moore Run/Walk is held in memory of late MVCC Mathematics Professor Ted Moore, who was tragically killed by a drunk driver while out for a morning run. The event features a 5K run and 2-mile walk, Law Enforcement Challenge (open to current employees of any local law enforcement agency), and awards for the top finishers in 10 different age groups. The event, sponsored by Oneida County STOP-DWI, raises funds for an MVCC scholarship in Ted’s name and promotes awareness of the dangers of drinking and driving.

The cost to participate is $20 per adult and $10 per student.
