The Department of Theatre and Dance presents the fourth FREE reading of the Spring 2018 semester:

IN LOVE AND WARCRAFT by Madhuri Shekar is directed by senior Victoria Rose Stevens in partial fulfillment of her work in Theatre 321: Directing II Second Season Staged Readings at 4:00 pm on WEDNESDAY, APRIL 11 in the Black Box
Theatre in Brodie Hall.

IN LOVE AND WARCRAFT is a simultaneous examination of romance and gaming culture in modern society. Gamer girl and confirmed virgin Evie Malone has never experienced romance, despite working as a "love guru" for the other students on her campus. To her, love is just as strategic and predictable as a video game. However, in the final months of her college career, Evie is forced to examine her love life, her gaming life, and herself after getting mixed up with one of her clients.

The RUNNING TIME is approximately two hours including a ten-minute intermission. The reading will be followed by a talkback between the audience, Ms. Stevens, and the actors, Leeann Bruetsch (Evie), Shaw Schiappacasse (Ryan), Jessica Lisi (Kitty), Alec Bader (Raul), Katie Joyce (Woman), Wesley Ebersole (Man), and Mary Beth LaFantano (Narrator). Latecomers cannot be seated, and seating is limited, so please arrive early in order to secure a good seat.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact Victoria Rose (vrs2).
