WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION: Have you ever hesitated to confront a board or committee member, a donor, an employee or a colleague about an uncomfortable situation? When managed properly, these essential conversations can build positive relationships and create opportunities to move your agenda forward. This workshop will provide a framework in critical skill areas: how your values, perspective, strengths and weaknesses influence your conflict management style; how to create a positive culture that plays to your strengths to initiate change; specific conflict management skills and strategies; and interest-based negotiation techniques.
