WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION: The Rochester Area Foundation provides financial and administrative support to nonprofit organizations in the greater Rochester area and 5 surrounding counties. This includes funding opportunities through cycle grants, donor-advised funds and shareholder funds. Application forms and instructions are available on the RAF website, but this workshop will be led by Foundation staff to clarify requirements, describe how your application will be evaluated, answer your questions, assist you through the application process, and provide guidance for crafting a great application. Participants are welcome to bring a lunch and pitch their idea to RAF’s grant officer.

Presenter: Jane Angelone is RAF’s Grant Administrator who is responsible for managing the process for cycle grants, scholarships and shareholder funds. She also works with area nonprofits providing technical assistance and coordinates support services for emerging organizations. She has served as a nonprofit executive, a federal grant project manager and a healthcare administrator. In addition to substantial grant writing and management experience, she serves as RAF’s professional grant writer.
