Rock House Brewing and Nate’s Coffee would like to invite you all to the second annual Rock House/Nate’s Coffee Brew-off. The competition will be at 9am on Saturday May 12th. The same rules will apply as last year:
A) Must Brew on site at Rock House Brewing (119 Luigart Ct.)
B) Any base style other than Porters, Stouts, Cream Ales or Brown Ales (BJCP categories 1c, 9c, 13b, 13c, 15b, 15c, 16a, 16b, 16c, 16d, 19c, 20a, 20 b and 20c). Final beer must demonstrate noticeable coffee qualities
C) BJCP base category & subcategory must be chosen on submission date
D) each entry must use Nate’s Coffee in the recipe; Nate’s will provide up to 1 pound of any coffee from below per entry.
E) Entries to be turned in 6 weeks from Brew day (approx. June 23rd). 3 bottles required per entry.
F) Any yeast style can be used; Rock House's house yeast will be available if desired.
Attached are the coffee styles to choose from. You must register by May 7th to ensure that all brewers will receive their requested coffee.
This year we will be adding a little to the event. We will have a food truck on site serving breakfast; Nate's Coffee serving coffee and Rock House will be releasing some coffee variants. So invite your friends and family out to watch the brewing process and enjoy the festivities.
