You are invited to Strong Moms! We know that the key to making the most of motherhood is making sure to take time for yourself. We are two local professionals teaming up to provide some time for pregnant and new moms to relax while gaining some essential information about physical strength (preparing for birth and recovery) and emotional strength (hormones and confidence). Plus, we wanted to create a place for new moms to get to know each other too.
All women in pregnancy and postpartum time (which can include up to 12 months post-birth) are welcome to attend. Babies in arms welcome, as well. (Our space is not conducive for actively moving babies/children).
You are welcome to attend one time or every month!

--Stephanie Kelsick, Physical Therapist and Women’s Health Specialist from Rock Valley PT, will be sharing about how to protect your PFM (Pretty Fabulous Muscles)/Pelvic floor prior to delivery…and how to get those tummy muscles and PFM back in shape to LIVE LIFE!!
--Katie Nyberg, The Iowa Baby Lady, will be sharing some tips and tricks that have helped her clients get through pregnancy and postpartum with added strength. If you are currently pregnant, Katie will be sharing information about how to help labor progress smoothly. If you've already had your baby, Katie will provide some practical tips for getting extra sleep and helping your body return to your new "normal".
--Time for "Ask the Experts Anything"! Do you have questions about what is happening with your body? Questions about hormones? Questions about baby sleep? Let Stephanie and Katie help!
--Light snacks will be provided as well as time to relax and chat with other local moms!
